The API generates or validates a file on demand, when your code or CI calls it. A managed site keeps a file current automatically — we regenerate it on a schedule when your content changes and serve it from a stable URL.

Each API generate or validate request. Managed-site refreshes are metered separately, and only real regenerations count — the cheap checks that find no change do not.

API requests return a 429 until the next month or an upgrade. A managed site that reaches its refresh limit simply keeps serving its last generated file.

No. Monthly quotas reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC).

Yes — and how many pages it covers scales with your plan. The free web generator includes up to 20 pages; Starter covers up to 50, and Pro up to 100. Via the API, llms-full.txt requires Starter or above (the Free API plan returns the concise llms.txt).

Yes. Manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from the billing portal. Upgrades apply immediately; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Plans are billed monthly in USD through Stripe, with no long-term commitment. Cancel anytime and you will not be charged again.
